法国画家和收藏家。职业是一个建筑师，是印象派的信徒和该派少数资助者之一。一共参加五次印象派画展，作品涉及城市风景、静物、船只场景等，有着十分精美细腻的笔调，代表作有《雨天》、《欧洲之桥》等。去世的时候将收藏的65件印象派作品捐给国家，成为如今法国奥塞博物馆最核心的收藏。French Impressionist artist born 1848 - died 1894
